Epilepsal Syrup 120ml contains Phenobarbital 20mg/5ml - a barbiturate antiepileptic. It controls fits by reducing abnormal brain activity, also used for febrile seizures in children and as sedative
Epilepsal is Phenobarbital Oral Solution USP manufactured for Hindustan Trust Pvt Ltd. Phenobarbital enhances GABA activity in brain, raises seizure threshold and prevents spread of seizure discharge. Indicated for all forms of epilepsy except absence seizures, also effective in febrile convulsions. Onset within 30-60 minutes, long duration of action. Mfg 06/2026 Exp 05/2028
