Dosage
As directed by Physician. Constipation: Adults 15-30ml once daily in morning, may increase upto 45ml. Children: 5-10ml daily. Hepatic Encephalopathy: 30-45ml 3-4 times daily. Take with full glass of water

Emty Solution 200ml from Alkem contains Lactulose 10gm/15ml. It is a gentle laxative that works by pulling water into colon to soften stool and make bowel movement easy. Also lowers blood ammonia in liver patients
Emty Solution 200ml is Lactulose Solution I.P. 66.67% w/v manufactured by Alkem Laboratories Ltd. Lactulose is a synthetic sugar that is not absorbed. It is broken down by colonic bacteria into acids which increase osmotic pressure, retain water in bowel and soften stool. It also acidifies colon, converts ammonia to ammonium ion which is not absorbed, thus reducing blood ammonia levels in liver disease
Notes / Caution
Shake well before use. Do not use if you have galactosemia, intestinal blockage. Diabetics use with caution. Excess dose causes diarrhea, abdominal cramps, dehydration. Keep out of reach of children. Store below 30°C
