About this Medicine
Mucolytic syrup to thin mucus and clear chest congestion
Mucolite Syrup contains Ambroxol Hydrochloride, a mucolytic agent. It breaks down thick mucus in airways and increases its clearance. Used for wet cough, bronchitis and other lung conditions with sputum. Available in syrup form for both adults and children.
Notes / Caution
Prescription drug. Take after meals to avoid gastric irritation. May cause nausea, diarrhea. Do not use with cough suppressants like dextromethorphan. Avoid in 1st trimester of pregnancy. Drink lots of water for better effect
