About this Medicine
Pediatric broad spectrum antibiotic with clavulanate for bacterial infections
MOXCLAV DS contains Amoxycillin, a penicillin antibiotic, combined with Potassium Clavulanate, a beta-lactamase inhibitor. This combination helps overcome antibiotic resistance. DS = Double Strength. Used for moderate to severe bacterial infections in pediatric patients.
Notes / Caution
Schedule H - Prescription drug. Take with food to reduce stomach upset. Complete full course. May cause diarrhea, nausea, rash. Not for viral infections like cold/flu. Store constituted suspension in refrigerator and use within 7 days
